A Term of Office is for four (4) years and bi-elections are held for the remainder of a term for any vacant seat. The Mayor is elected by the town’s people and the Deputy Mayor is elected by Council members at the first meeting of the new Council. The Mayor and Town Manager sit on all meetings of Council and committees.
