BCSPL Feature Player of the Week – Juan Acosta
Whitecaps FC Daily recently profiled Juan Acost
a of our U17 Boys Team as their BCSPL Feature Player of the Week. Juan received some devastating news while playing for MUFC during this past mini season. He was diagnosed with cancer. In spite of the terrible news and the treatments that followed, Juan was not about to let this stand in his way of returning to play the game he loves. His determination and positive outlook have led him back to the playing field and we couldn’t be happier or more proud of a great kid. Well done Juan! To listen to the Whitecaps FC Daily – Apr 5 2012 podcast on this story and fast forward to the 38′ mark.
